forgiveness and to be careful about their actions in the future. The

Kathina simply means offering robes to
the monks who have observed the three months Rain Retreat at a certain
temple. The Kathina Ceremony must be held within one month from the day
of the Rain Retreat is over. This is one of the most important events in
the Buddhist calendar for the Buddhist people to cultivate meritorious
deeds. Therefore, the Ratanaram Buddhist Temple has arranged this
Kathina Ceremony on Sunday November 6, 2011 as a part of our
annual celebration. Those who wish to be sponsorship of this event by
making a donation of $ 50.00 may contact the monks at the temple.
Hopefully your schedule allows you to participate in this special event.
